I have D9's and have seen a lot but nothing like yours! Those could really be worth something. I know THOR at karma has a special addition CV to that are pretty rare, I had never seen anything like his CV's either until I saw those and they are pretty rare.

So I believe you really got something there and I would definatly protect them and never mod them babbies. Yuvasena Hd Video Songs Free Download. I hope someone comes up with some info! Wait till paul sees these, he'll want em! Posted on Monday, August 15, 2005 - 19:24 GMTOh, I forgot to include the update on these. I spoke to a person at CV and they said these were a 'special edition' (as it says on the grill plates) and have a the woofer designed after the 'earthquake woofer' with the pleated surrounds, large magnet and higher power handling, upgraded crossovers, different mids and is supposed to have an elliptical HF driver that is different although mine looks like a standard D-9. These are nice speakers in spectacular condition and sound great but are not me.

I'm older (41) and listen to smoother more dynamic music and my newly acquired Wharfedales W90's are rocking my boat as they say. These are great for blasting zep, AC/DC, whatever but I don't do much of that at home. If I could just get these suckers mounted in my truck where the rocking out happens that would be another story. Posted on Thursday, August 25, 2005 - 04:15 GMTKelly, Did you know that CV where used for Universal's 'Earthquake' with there own patented sound system Sensurround 1974, which I liked a lot when I felt there fury way back then, so be proud of your CV's, not sure if you have the film 'Earthquake' on DVD like I do. And like pride, I take pride in my JBL set-up with a mighty JBL 4645 sub bass as pictured, soon as I can buy a cheep digital camera, I can get some images of my home cinema up for all to see.

I'm still running a set of the E-15's I bought like 15 years ago and they still sound great. I love them almost as much as the first day I hooked them up. If you add a sub to them you get even better sound.

I just ordered a Klipsche RW-12D last night to replace the lower end sub I have been running and can't wait to add it to the system. CV speakers have always gotten a bit of a bad rep in audiophile circles because the bass is 'muddy' or 'loose' but I've never had any problems witht he sq from mine at all. I grew up putting big bass systems in trucks and I guess my listening habits are a little boomier than the average ap. That said, I've never heard a system that sounded as good to me that was less than $10k. The only drawback to them is of course the size of the cabinets. Yeah, there is something to be said about the classic 3-way using large woofers Yep, particularly for fans of stereo-only systems. I've realized many people here and on other forums are only 30 years and younger and have literally never heard such systems, IMO partly due to influence from the advertising from a certain well-known speaker company based in the northeast, that implies that anything larger than a 2-way standmount with a 5.25' woofer is considered 'huge' and/or 'old-fashioned'.
