I have two older HP Pavillion PCs that I upgraded to Windows 8 without much of an issue. The only drivers I have not been able to locate are for the Wireless NICs. Close out of any error windows you get. Go to the network controller needing drivers in the device manager, click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver. Select the Browse My computer for Driver software method and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file. That file should be in C: SWSetup sp35019.
